Stanton L847S W/Nude & Ruby...Jewelry?

Well, I have to say...This was the Greatest 'Make Offer' Deal Ever...For less then a D6800 Stylus, they took my Offer on this P-Mount 881S with Box...But, not just an 881S...It has a SoundSmith of NY. Nude Diamond and a Ruby Cantilever...It sounds like an 881S with Nitrous...A Lot more Impact with the same Tonality...And, having a Single Chrystal Ruby Cant. would it also be a piece of Jewelry?

I had a Sumiko BPS done with ruby... Peter does amazing work.

Yeah, well...It seems that I've got the Best of Stantons...It might be time to start Branching Out...Mmmm...Maybe one of those Jade Carts??

Check the 'Bay' for L-847S 'Completed Listings'...It's the only one there.....

Wow seller listed it under Consumer Electronics:scratch2: No wonder i didn't see it when I did a search under cartridge and stylus. Some times I think a lot of good stuff goes for low prices or not all all due to what it's listed under..............

You got as they say the deal of the century :yes:

There is another L-847S W/ D84SII with 'Make Offer' up now...I have that with a D84S also, but this 'Ruby' Really Stomps it...Maybe I'll A/B them as soon as it gets nice and Broken In....But for now...It seems to put out more Vol. and Bass...I'm a bit afraid that my Old Klipsch KG3's Woofers might end up in my Face...
Oh Yeah...One other thing...It was listed for $15 more on 'Buy It Now'....I still can't believe that No One went for it...For Two Days I was thinking about if I should have...

This thread is interesting for me,because I have a Stanton 980HZS and I use as my daily cartridge the Soundsmith 'The Voice(ebony)'.

I have the original stylus for the Stanton(the D98S).The Soundsmith 'The Voice' uses a Ruby cantilever and the best diamond that he has.

I reckon that a Soundsmithed Stanton would sound real nice.
