Hi I am new here and asked to post some about my speaker projects.

The fatboy a 3 way MTM with bandpass low.

Ich wohne und bin in die Niederlande etwa 10 Kilometer entfernt von die deutsche grenze und 17km von Bocholt.
 
Sind Sie Niederlander? In denn Fall, Englisch is wahrscheinlich besser. I spend lots of time around Heerlen in the village of Ubach over Worms. Great area!

Lay them in line with the wood lines.

Fold them together and lay in the backplane to fit everything. Wood cut of on 45 degrees.

[Incidentally, I used to live in Oldenburg, and travelled across the border and to the Netherlands coastline sometimes. Went out on shrimp boats for some of the best, freshest seafood I've ever eaten (Yum!). Very nice area!]

The big bandpass I use sound very good the low sound low at low spl and the high keep sounding detailed on low spl. It reproduces the sound off contrabase or bass guitar excellent.

The bass reflex is extreme dynamic sounded thin compared to the bandpass both go down to 20Hz within 10dB.

Great post, Helmuth! Thanks for the cabinet construction details; I may steal a technique or two.
Very impressive.
I use chip wood with Formica synthetic wood toplayer the fastest and cheapest way to build speakers. Every thing depends on precise sawing.

And nothing is that scratch resistant and professional looking as that finished. Paint is painstaking and expensive. With this technique only precise sawing and glue and you are ready.
 
Why? This is why.

Your results are certainly different than I have seen between particle board and MDF in the past. But, I can see based on your results why you would choose particle board.
