AK Photo Competition #1

Here is the first Assignment/Competition

The topic is... Days of Summer.

Let's see you capture summer in a photo. It can be anything from kids in a pool, a BBQ, a vacation or road trip, a popsicle, the heat, tomatoes on a vine, the beach. Use your imagination, get creative!

The guidelines are below.

Submissions
This is important. Images should be hosted on a free image hosting service. We do not want to overload and eat up AK's servers and bandwidth. If you don't know how to, ask. No larger than 800 x 800 pixels.

One photo per entry and they must be original photos that you took. Any format, film or digital. The photo should be new a work. I realize it's not to much time for you film guys.

Post the photos in this thread, including location, shooting information (camera, ASA, etc.). The deadline is Thursday, Aug. 4th. 12am PST.

This is a trial run. When I get back into town I'll create a poll for voting on your favorite. The winner will get to select the next topic. I hope some of you smart guys can pick up the slack, I won't be near a computer. Sorry for the bad timing on my part.

Good luck and have fun!

Taken July 27, 2011 at about 7:15 PM, for the even illumination. Camera used was a Canon EOS 10D with Canon EF 28-80 USM at 80mm. ISO 400 @ 1 second f22 using Tv (shutter priority) mode. Tripod mounted, of course. This is as close to what I saw as I could get.
