Speaker Plugs

IIRC The Top or Horizontal Plug is + and the bottom or vertical plug is -.

Spade terminals are 50% too thin - they will fall out, or have poor contact depending upon the residual spring strength over the last 30+ years.
Think think tweeter destroying intermittents in time with the bass.
Several threads on alternatives, including the cheapest possible "ghetto" fix that's surprisingly effective. ugly but functional.

nah, THESE were the ghetto plugs: (specifically for the zero budget person)
ugly as sin, but quite functional

Thanks Larry, although i figured it would be on the official speaker terminals i bought i figured it couldn't hurt to ask now just to be sure. There are lots of other good suitable alternatives guys, i too tried a spade connector bent in half. It was..... less than ideal at best, lol.
Sleep, those seem to be a PERFECT alternative, especially if they got sanded up and painted! I bet you could start buying those and selling them on here, as i have never seen anything like those before!

I really really like these plugs, no need for a hacksaw, just a diagonal cutting pliers and a mototool to file down the larger terminal. Super duper!
