Yamaha CR-800 no stereo FM

Looking for some advice/suggestions on what could be the cause of no fm stereo reception ( mono only ) on my CR-800. The fm reception is very strong & the alignment seems to be very good, with the stations right on dial frequency.The multiplex circuit shows a transformer which I have tried adjusting-but no stereo.There are 4 transistors in the mpx circuit,so its possible one could be defective.I do have the service manual,but not to experienced on solid state repair.The amplifier section is fine when fed a stereo signal from a seperate tuner into the aux.port.Any help will be appreciated. Jeff, I could send you the whole Tuner Sheet from a CR-800, maybe that would be a simple way of curing the problem.
