Wow, six accordians and I spy some nice mics and speakers among the TV sets. If I lived close that would be on my itinerary.
 
There's something really sad about looking at a man's lifelong collection of his hobby and knowing it just goes to the high bidder. I know that's life but it's still sad.:tears:

I get notifications of area estates sales every week and the one thing I've begun to reflect on is how much stuff I've personally felt compelled to collect over the years and have on display or stashed away in my own home. I guess there's a little compulsive collector in all of us, ranging from old cars and electronics to stamps and salt and pepper shakers. I can only image what the photos will look like when my time comes.

The sad thing about looking at an estate sale like that (and actually 90% of them) is that if the items don't sell, they're either sold off in lot to a professional "remover" for a set price or oft times just wind up in dumpers during one big final house cleaning because the folks are downsizing or heading into retirement homes or the survivors don't realize the value or just don't want to deal with it.
