We have a past due bill and need to get it paid so that our daughter who got kidnapped can call us by one of these phones.
I read it as the phone has been cut off for nonpayment. They have to sell stuff to get the phone turned on... so the kidnapped daughter can call with the ransom demand?

Note to self:
Kidnap someone with money. And a phone.

Just read the ad to my wife to see what she thinks they meant, and she said with the Howard Johnson's e-mail address, she wonders if they aren't living in a motel and trying to sell their stuff..
