Help - what part number is Q801?
In the 250 amp - what replacement can you use for Q801- the bias transistor. It seems to be the only thing between a broken and working 250.
And not the part number in the service manual. I need the actual transistor code. charles

Understandable - if I had that toy I wouldn't come out of my room a month!
I am looking forward to hearing how that amp stacks up against the 500 and possibly a 250 or DC series amp. charles

Original is MJE-180.
 But you can use the type i told you. Let us know when the sucker works again!
