Hello!

That looks like an awesome project! I am in awe. Makes me want to dig into my next rebuild. Peace. Robert

Wow it is like a brand new one found in a time capsule now. Great work I wish I can also found two new chassis for my Mc30s (and even better if another two chassis for my Mc60s as well) to restore them cosmetically like yours. Thanks for the sharing.

I was contacted by the guy who made the chassis. He is prepping a new batch now. PM me and I will put you in touch. A rather large project, but if yours looked anything better than mine did, it would not be too bad.

Don- Transformer covers were sanded with a orbital sander. I filled a couple small dents, then painted with primer. Finished with black lacquer. I went for a semi-gloss almost textured finish. Labels are not on yet in the photos. Just applied them.
So far it is very nice sounding. Not a trace of any noise at all. I turned off the source and cranked it all the way up to adjust the hum. No hum to adjust. Just silence. I am going to like these I think. The second one will be much easier I'm sure. From the start of this post it has been about 1 month and 5 days. Let's start the counter for 2. Well I have a couple parts on the new chassis, but the old one is as it was.

If those sound as beautiful as they look, I doubt you will ever look for amps again.

Sloober thanks for your kindness. The wife always grumbles about the "rusty and dirty" looks of my Mc30s/Mc60s. With the new chassis available, gonna make her happier to see at least they will be "neat and tidy"
