Any Reel guys interested in a tape swap?

I keep checking my stoop every day thinking I'll get a tape someday... it's been several months. I have sent a PM to the member I get tapes from AUdubon5425 (Ryan) to see if he's received any tapes or if the bottleneck is elsewhere. Anyone else had this problem? This round should be over by now!
 
Ron, I PM'd you --- I have to apologize to y'all. I thought I had forwarded a tape but hadn't. Ron should be receiving two tapes next week in the mail.

Sorry guys I haven't checked in to AK lately - had to finish my garage so I could move my mother home, and just been real busy besides that. Please accept my mea culpa.

Yea, I was a wondering what had happened to the 10.5" half track swap I think there was only three of us but I could be wrong.

Either way I have had nary a tape in quite a while. I still have a 7" that I need to listen to all the way.

I have a 7" tape here that I have been going to forward on to Harry (I think, need to check). I think we should be nearing the end of the 7" rotation.

I'll try to send you two 10.5'' half trackers tomorrow. I ran across the box just now.
 
Ok, as long as I've lurked, I've never read this thread. How do I get in the loop? I have a vast collection of music, and would love to hear some others ideas of a collage of songs on a reel.
10.5 user here, so whatever reel sent, I can accomodate. Just don't have any 7's.

Olds442111 you will have to be patient with us as the group is a bit slow but we will have a new round here prolly around the first of the year. There are two groups 7 inch 1/4 track at 7ips and a 10.5" group that does half track also at 7.5ips.

In the past we had done 10.5 in 1/4 track but at the beginning of the last round it was dropped due to lack of anybody wanting to swap that format. that doesn't mean we can't pick it up again, just that we didn't use it this time.

So hang in there and check in every so often and another swap will start.

Got the box today Warren. Haven't opened it yet but I should tomorrow.

I've got a couple of doosies on the bench right now requiring my attention! So it could be tomorrow, the weekend is not out of the question either.

But there will be some listening when I do. :music:

I got 2 tapes from Ryan earlier this week. I think I'll be getting 1 more (Meggy's) before getting mine back. Can't wait for the next round!

It was Mike, good thing you mentioned it. I did open it up on Friday to find my tape and one other. While I didn't get a chance to listen to it I will this coming week.

Thanks Harry, I have one half of a 7" to listen to, so it looks like a little face time in front of my speakers this week. DANG! :D:D
 
Got back at 9PM from Columbus, moving my daughter into her apartment and doing errands at OSU with her. I'm exhausted. I still have a tape to listen to. I'll get to it.
