tubes and beverage of choice?

Strangely enough for a man from Kentucky, I really don't like bourbon much. It's too sweet. I will sip on some Bushmills though.

For tubes, I'll take the 6L6GCs in my big Fender. But too much Bushmills and no one else would want to hear it. ;-)

right now, 7408's in pushpull and Bacardi drinks are my only choice if if I want to 'drink with tubes' but, I cannot lie...at this moment its solid-state and coffee

My sweet sounding EL34s in the ST70, some Pink Floyd, and a bad case of the wine flu thanks to Robert Mondavi Cab. Also got to have a cigar to compliment the music and wine.

For making ss sound like tubes, and making music sound faster (:D) I drink a few Bell's Double Cream Stout. For making tubes sound unreal and heavenly, a bit of Old Grandad Kentucky Bourbon. Schneider Aventinus works as a good substitute for Bell's :smoke:

Im not a drinker, I inhale my buzz. I like to sit down with the old "water pipe" and some good green while Im enjoying the tubes :).

I like my Calvados, French apple brandy. There's many micro brewery beers I like. Cranberry Wheat Beer made in the Yukon is delish. Glad I brought a few with me when I moved.

An occasional stogy or perhaps something else to smoke. :D

Cheers

Lar

Mullards and single malt scotch. Mullards sound good and the single malt makes the ears work better.

I try and stick with some form of beer when I'm spinin' vinyl. Otherwise I risk damage to my precious cartridge.

I know what you mean vinylkid, but after a few brews I often move to CDs...less damage to be done.

Heekma, I am enjoying a Chimay red label and spinning Who's Next while I type this.

Fun reading this thread.

Large ice cold Diet Pepsi most of the time. On occasion, a couple of Molson Canadians improves the audio experience along with taking the glasses off.
