Pics of your listening space

OK, My LR space, not finished yet. my wife wanted the white Ikea thingamabob. I wanted dark brown or black. And who won???

Still have to get another one to get the tuner, Cassette deck, LP's, CD's, DVD's and maybe a Little reciever with seperate speakers into so I have a seperate radio to listen to instead of turing everything on jut for RDO.

The pic sucks, sorry! :tears:

That's actually a pretty nice looking thingamabob, that might just fit into casa chicks. What name does Ikea call this particular thingamabob by?

Ikea "expidit" on the side with short legs (actuallylarge hard rubber doorstops. Adcom is driving everything, 14/10, SL QL-1, Teac Speakers MB Quart.

I kind of miss that we used to live about 5 minutes away from the Ikea in NoVa. They have kind of got pricey compared to what they used to be but you can still find some bargains.

Thanks. I wouldn't buy all my furniture at Ikea but it does give you options that you can't find at a tradition furniture store.
 
here are some newer pics. the first is with the timeframes during xmas and the last are how it is now.
the timeframes were driven by tubes only and the kappas are bi-amped with tubes up on top and the carver pulling low-end duties.
there is a new tube amp in the very, very near future for me.:banana:

the tf-600's are 100% minty fresh and i got a hell of a deal on them.(less than $100)
the deal came up but i did not know what to think about them. after some great advice from here, well you can see.....:yes:

Hey chad,
Im impressed by your soundstage, specially the huge collection you have...It really takes long time to make something like that, im just starting mines, and it only have few discs on my shelf.
 
Thanks but that is my fathers system but I take alot of pride in it because I put it all together and it took 2 years to get it right. I also had the idea of the custom in wall rack and system layout. We live close to eachother so I spend as much time on his gear as I do with mine but it isnt mine. Between all the flights to demo gear, research and thought put into it I told my dad it was in a way "my baby" he chuckled and said one day it would be, we both got quiet I raised my drink toasted him and said "Lets pray not anytime soon!"
My dad is obviously a music lover as evidenced by his music collection and major of Pipe Organ, Flute, Violin and Conducting in College and he passed that love of music to me and I will forever love him for it.

nice. Similar layout to my theater room. I really like the gear tucked away on the side. I have a similar built in shelving unit in the back of the room where a built in fish tank used to be and tried moving the gear there but had lots of trouble with electrical interference, too long of an HDMI run but more importantly, the wife not happy about having to walk to the back of the room or having to turn around with the remote (she wouldn't let me spend the money for a relay/repeater system for the remote controls... damn)

Yes its a Ref 3, and its the best I have ever heard. Well to be honest I did hear better but they were from small outfits you never know how long they will be around.

You could use a mirror lol, electrical I never had to deal with as we went with Balanced for all connections but I can see how it may be an issue. How long is too long for HDMI?
