MC-2125 mono bridge bus
Here is a neat DIY to bridge the autoformers on a MC-2125 for running it in mono. The screws are where the spades attach which is handy if you already have "normal" spades mounted on your cable! After fabrication the bus was buffed on a polishing wheel and treated w/ Pro-Gold.
Source of copper???? Seamless Copper Water Tube Type M
Here is some data on the alloy used......
Manufactured to ASTM B 88 – Standard Specification for Seamless Copper Water Tube, manufactured from copper alloy C12200 having a chemical composition of a minimum of 99.9% Copper (Cu) and Silver (Ag) combined and a maximum allowable range of Phosphorous (P) of 0.015 % - 0.040 %.
Applications Used for seamless copper water tube, electromechanical hardware connectors, bus bars, etc.
Principal Design Features
Copper, DHP, Phosphorus-Deoxidized, High Residual Phosphorus. Deoxidization gives improved embrittlement resistance during welding. Has conductivity 85% IACS.
