I think they're a score, anyway. Got 'em for $80 on CL last night. Only had to drive a few blocks from my office to pick them up, too! (That's a not insignificant selling point in LA right there.)
Since they are Series I they are oak veneer with the wheat grills I've been lusting after. Some minor tearing at one corner of one of the grills, which is a bit of a bummer, so I might redo the grills at some point. Some minor water damage one top of one speaker, but the wood grain is so swirly on that one that it's hard to see. One woofer was replaced with an official BA replacement five or six years ago. Surrounds are solid for now--look forward to replacing them when they need it.
So that's all the relatively minor flaws--on the plus side, I hooked them up and BLASTED a clean dollar-bin copy of Joe Jackson's Jumpin' Jive LP and it sounded fantastic! Can't wait to A/B them with my A100s.
