Do you have the AT? If so, how thick is the mat on it? The KAB mat, as advertised, is 1/4" thick so if the AT mat is too then you're okay.
If the AT mat is less than 1/4" thick, how far does the spindle protrude from the platter (without the mat in place) before any bevel or other reduction in its diameter? I'd say anything around 1/2" would be plenty for a 1/4" thick mat.

When I had an AT-PL120, I put a 1/8" rubber mat on it and there was plenty of clearance for the spindle. A 1/4" mat will be fine (and will be a big improvement over the felt mat).
I ordered.
1. 1/4" KAB mat.
2. One overhang gauge.
I tried felt, cork mats. I thought time for a thick rubber mat.
Also seems this AK'er used a 1/4" KAB mat AT-PL120 owners on a 120.
I just got done auditioning the 1/4" and 1/8" mats on my AT-PL120. The 1/4" mat to me sounded powerfully overdampened. The 1/8" mat however seemed to bring out the life in recordings and open up detail, and it did this with different cartridges. It is a big improvement over the stock felt slipmat and the homemade cork mat I had been using.
