They do not seem to pay notice to that series. They seem to be more concentrated on the king-separates and the Esotec-series. They forgot most of the receivers that were the big sellers everywhere in the 70's.
Well - everybody else thinks that the 22XX-series of receivers were nice and fine receiveers - so what the heck....

Now, to brush up on my Deutsch.

As a retired photographer, I like the old cameras too, though I haven't collected many. My best it a Polaroid SX-70, maybe the coolest camera design ever. Would love a Leica.

As noted at the top of the page, that Timeline comes from the Japan-only book published in 2003 by Stereo Sound for Marantz (and not the other way around).
It is therefore a book made from the perspective of the japanese market, thus ignoring almost all that was export-only... and that's all the gear US people love and remember.

And yes, there are many blank spots and dates inconsistencies, as in all such items assembled by corporate staffs long after the facts and long after the related archives have been gradually lost and/or junked.
The real stories are always far more complex and intricate, whatever the brand - see here for instance. (thorough reading actually necessary :)
