What are you drinking now?

It's "Thirsty Thursday" so a lovely Bombay & tonic while Freddie Cole sings "I want a Sunday Kind of Love."

(2) Makers at Marie Calendars whilst we discussed remodeling vs renovation vs moving. (2) Spaten Oktoberfest while fine dining at Buffalo Wings and Things followed by another Makers back up in my listening room with Mudcrutch and ewesgeyz. :thmbsp:

REBEL YELL
An 80 proof wheated bourbon using WL Weller's original recipe, now distilled by Luxco. Urine-colored, thin and young tasting, it tastes true to its type - a too watered-down wheater. Too thin, too young.

But not BAD. In its favor, it is cheap
($10 per .750). At that price, it's worth having just to irritate my Libocrat friends).

REBEL RESERVE

90.6 proof iteration of Rebel Yell that's a lot closer to Stitzel-Weller's old original Rebel Yell. Still too young, but much more flavorful. But at almost $20 a fifth, there are better bourbons.

The fruit flies are going all harikari over it, though.
