The ElectroVoice Experience ! Sp15 x 4?
Well,not quite.
As of today I am the proud owner of 4 count 'em 4 Electrovoice SP15's.
Unfortunately only 2 of them are PERFECT. The other 2 need a re-cone and at this point they will probably be shelved for awhile.
I couldn't buy these and not listen to them so I brought my big ugly cabs in for a mock-up. That's when my EV guru showed up with a few toys.
Namely a pair of EV SM120A mid horns, which I paired with some 1823M drivers.
He also brought a pair of EV ST350 tweets and pair of EV Sentry IV B crossovers. :scratch2: I had no intentions of hooking this stuff up today
but Andrew twisted my arm,and I'm glad he did.
Obviously these cabs need lots of work.Having the right stuff to fill them will provide incentive to get my butt in gear. The sounds are pretty damn good, better than I expected by far.
I did some reading on the Cornscalla and Cornscalla II last night. These cabs are almost the same size as Cornwalls.
Any way here are the preliminaries!
