Hi all,
I've been using a Olympus E-P3 for awhile now and I picked up a
Nice little Panasonic GX-1, it's really great at times. I think it focuses
faster than the E-P3 and has better focus point options plus it's 16
megapixels and there's more buttons on the back for direct access
to ISO focus points and other it's a real nice camera. I think at times it's
better than the E-P3 (Sorry Olympus), but I'll keep her for awhile still like
using her sometimes.

That's what I prefer about the Panasonics too. My GX7 has the direct inputs right there to adjust. I don't like the Olympus drilling down menus situation. This has kept me away from the OMD1.

The OMD EM1's various buttons and dials are all prerty much customizable. One of the most important aspects of a camera to me is it's UI aside from image quality. One reason I bought I ended up buying the EM1. Once setup to your style of shooting and preferences, I find I rarely need to go into the admittedly, labyrinth of a menu system that Olympus tends to have.

Once setup, the EM1 is a very fast camera in terms of making on the fly adjustments as well as sheer AF speed.

Depite the op's run on sentence:D, he makes some good points. The GX1 is one heck of a camera.

Sorry danj, got a new computer and still trying to get used to working with the
smaller Mac keyboard, a light touch is all you need!
