Does my 30W amp clip beyond 1 watt with music?

Not enough information, and I'm not quite sure what "average peak" means.

All that can be said at this point is if you had 60dB crest factor you'd need 1,000,000 times average power to cover the peak power requirement.

FWIW, information I found suggests there is 24.6dB crest factor in the 1812 Overture, but it's not clear for what source. So, what ever power is required to produce the average level you want, multiply it by 436.5 to cover the peak demand for that example.

Which is a reasonable number considering THX recommendations for movies content requests 20 dB reserve for peaks. 60 dB is impossible value for any delivery media other than hi-res files.

I just pulled down the data from a site that tracks the "DR" of various recordings. I think DR is Crest Factor as the values range from 4 to 22 with one third (33%) in the 12 and 13 categories.

First number is DR, second is the count, third is the percent of total.
This data is very slightly "smoothed" because DR values were presented for albums and there is a DR for each song and an average DR for the album of songs... I just pulled down the whole list and crunched everything...
