Toshiba SA-320L??? Any Info?

Web-er-web user...
I walked past this the other day and decided to buy it. I got it for $10. It looks really nice but unfortunately one channel has gone. I haven't given it a full clean yet though and there are no blown fuses. Does anybody have any info on this Receiver? I've seen it on two e-bay listings one says its 70wpc and one says 50wpc. I doubt that it would be over 40wpc looking at it, the model is SA-320L. Does anyone know about this model?

Thanks!

In germany your receiver called only SA-320, from a TOSHIBA broschure 1978.

HiFi-Stereo-Receiver SA 320.

Heheh, yeah. I've already cleaned all the pots. Will do the switches tomorrow! I like it and want to get it going.

Thanks for the info Michael-Otto I appreciate it!

I remember noticing that that series of Toshibas have unusually low damping factors, so that might have an effect on what speakers sound good with it.

Hopefully cleaning all of the switches thoroughly will do the job. I have a SA-725 and, while not in rotation, it's as beefy as the Realistic receivers I have. Good luck!

I did a thorough cleaning of all pots and switches but the one channel is still gone:sigh:

If its not the preamp I have an idea for what to do with it... and turn it into an 80Wpc receiver!
