Mirage SM-2.5

Hi everyone!

Considering a pair of speakers, but before I make a half hour car ride out there I want to make sure its worth while!

They are Mirage SM-2.5. I would be trading Acoustic Profiles PSL-7.5 speakers for them. Any thoughts? I have never heard the model before. Here is the link to the ad:

I would buy them. I have driven farther for less. Mirage made some pretty good speakers.

No port/passive radiator

Another quick question- there is no port or passive radiator... is this a big deal?

Note that the Mirage SM-2.5 uses foam surrounds on the woofer, and if they are original, are likely to need replacement as they would about 30 years old now.

Hey guys, sorry about the delayed reply. I decided against them. They sounded fuller than my Acoustic Profiles, but not as much bottom end or clarity (in my opinion). Great speakers, but I decided against them. Thanks for the help eh!
