Hi Everyone ! Just discovered this board a couple of days ago. Will be needing an education so I can build a simple system centered around this beautiful Pioneer SX-1050 ! Probably paid too much for it but it came in the original box with manual and a full schematic. The man I bought it from was the original owner and a high-end stereo buff, a wealth of info he is. Unfortunately, he is in his early 80s and moving to AZ. He has been selling off his 20k+ vinyls and such.Keeping his best sound for himself and I don't blame him. Did a thorough inspection of this unit and it sounds as good as I remember from back in the day. I'm 54 and a licensed Ham operator. (Tech. level) My understanding of electronics is rather weak.
So as time goes I hope to discover some great speakers and run CDs for now. I enjoy Rock,Blues and Contemporary Worship music.
