What about a 2230B?

I've never heard a 2230B.
I was given one the other day.
I haven't powered it on.
It needs to be serviced.
But how are they?
I mean compared to a 2230 or a 2245 or a 2270?
I haven't noticed any 2230B discussion.
I didn't even know that the model existed.
Thank you for any review.

Yes Bert 1100, that helps.
This 2230B is my first 'B' Marantz.
This one is dirty and was sitting unused, in the basement rec room, of a family home.
The people told me that it hadn't been used for fifteen years.
The tone control knobs are stripped and don't turn their shafts.
The unit is layered with no attention.
The family had eight children, now in their 50s ish.
I bet that 2230B could tell some stories!
I was told that at least one of the boys was
frequently in search of '11' on the volume scale.
The tone controls were obviously popular, too.

I was moving some of the home contents to the old folks home and
the Marantz was destined for a yard sale at best.
It may well have been headed to the graveyard.
I can see better days ahead for it now.

I appreciatively accepted the 2230B in exchange for the cost of the move.
It ain't about the money.

I have a 2230, 2245, and a 70.
They really sound good.
Right now my intention is to have my tech friend restore the unit.
If the performance of the 'B' is similar to the 22xxs, great!
Then I have a needy family in mind who I know will treasure it.
