Hello folks!
I am new owner of KD 650 turntable. I was wondering how difficult would be manufacture new (custom) tonearm base for some better tonearm than the one which came mounted on stock turntable. I was trying to get some info but it seems that this turntable is quite rare. Mine works perfectly but the tonearm is not a miracle and I believe I can even improve soundstage by mounting some decent tonearm.
It would be great to get dimensions of the two tonearm bases which come with stock KD-600 units. I believe that plinth is same for both models as there are unused holes with hexagonal holes supposedly for nuts to attach these tonearms. Can some of you guys help me?:scratch2:
