Having a weird issue with this Yamaha cassette deck I own. Its an auto reverse, and if I play the front of the cassette it will sound muffled. But If I flip that same side over and play the reverse side it will sound fine?
Azimuth alignment in autorreverse decks is independent for each direction. You may have to adjust the misaligned direction azimuth. Be careful not to align the wrong direction. That would ruin the correct direction.
