I LOVE this music! My wife and I were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, and had a wonderful time. I'm going back for the jazz festival in April, if I can, and will be searching for Cajun music as well as jazz.

I was born and raised right down the road from DL Menard. Saw him many a time at Saturday night shindigs and such. I really miss the culture, food and down to earth people. Think about moving back but a lot has changed, lots of phone and ipad zombies there too now. Most of my familys home ins shot up from like $500 a year to over $4000 a year after Hurricans Katrina and Rita, has come down some but still too way high unless I was willing to be more than 20 miles north of the gulf which I'm not.
