C-80 vs C-85 preamp

Hi group,
There's an M-85 amp I'm thinking of buying.

I'm looking for a matching C-85 preamp; all I can find on Ebay is a C-80.

I've read up on the two and they don't seem to be that much different; I thought I turn to you experts for your thoughts on the differences between the two.

And....while I have you:

What do you think of the M-85?

Thanks,
Jeff

Ancient thread but this may help someone along the way searching for info. Except for the cabinet model numbers and some very slight cosmetics, these two pieces are pretty much identical. Same for the C-60 and C-65, almost identical. In fact, these four models share the same boards, with the 80/85 adding parametric tone controls vs the 60/65 standard tone controls and the 80/85 adds inverted outputs.

Both the C-80 and 85 share the same power transformer. There is other minor differences on the faceplate. The input select button labeling has a minor change.

The C-85 has a "CD" input selection where the C-80 labels it "DAD".

I'd like to chime in and say the "DAD" input on the C-80 stands for Digital Audio Deck just to prove I know stuff. CD's became more popular later while Phillips & Sony & the people decided on the new digital audio format, DAT or CD.
