^ I'm not seeing any questions of value, only the OP saying they are priced like 690's. He's asking for help with ID not pricing.

Sorry I can't help, but I'm curious too. They look to be of quality build.

Yes they are NS20 very old speaker !

I 've seen only one pair in France more than 35 years ago .....:yes:

I think that polistyren should not be really " fresh " today :sigh:
 
When he says 'priced like' - that is asking a value.

I know the rules gents... If I want a value opinion I'll put it in d&s. The comparison was fyi only.... Tell me what they are, I'll decide the value! Though for equal money, I'll take the 690. They look nicer.

Ear speakers, eh? Any thoughts on how they sound?

Had a set of those many years ago now. Nothing real fancy, as Celt says not unpleasant, but not really inspiring either. Very shallow and thin walled vented cabinet if i recall correctly.
They had that great vintage look though.
Ear shaped drivers were also used by Yamaha in an old Yamaha organ that was in the share house I used to live in.
