Tell me about the Nagaoka MP-200 Cart!!!

Hi,
I'm looking at one of these to go with my Luxman PX-101 Linear.

Was wondering if anyone had experience with the carts??? Thanks!

I used one for about a year, then switched to MC carts. I love Nagaoka sound and the MP-200 is very good.
What cart are you using now?

Hi,
The Luxman came with an entry level Grado cart.

I'm now trying to find a used but excellent condition MP-200 to buy!

If you know of any leads I would like to hear of them.

Tough to find them used, as the stylus replacements are very good and reasonably priced. Plus you can up-buy the replacements as the body styles are the same. meaning you can use an MP300 or MP500 stylus on a MP200 body.

Hi,
Well I found a used one on another forum a Nagaoka MP-200 for $210 shipped!

The owner says it has about 70 hours on it.

I'm happy, that ought to go well with the Luxman Linear!

I'm hoping for good things!

That was fast! I'm glad you found the cart. Nagaoka is my favorite brand of cartridges, and I hope you enjoy it! I can't wait for your reviews.

+1 on the Nagaoka! You will love it. I use it's big brother the MP-500 and I wouldn't swap it for anything.

Perfect!! Now when you need a new needle, get at least an MP300 replacement...Should hear better SQ. It will fit the MP200 body.
