Help with a Kenwood Eleven III

Have a mint Kenwood Eleven III receiver.
Timer works, but can not get it back to the reset position.
Have it bypassed at the moment.
Unless it is in the reset position, it will only work while timer is actually running. Can not rotate dial to the reset position. Plastic parts inside are not broken. If I set timer, it runs & stops correctly.
As said, I have the timer bypassed for now.
Does anyone have ideas or an owner's manual that might shed light on problem?
Thank you.

The timer has to be resetted counter clockwise.
You can take a Super Eleven Manual for the functions of the timer.

Mine is the same way. I have found that there is quite a detent to overcome when returning to the reset position (I have the Eleven II). I think that is why most have a broken shaft. Mine works but I set at 120 and live with it.

I've found that if you turn it clockwise first, it's much easier to go counter-clockwise to the reset position.

What is the reason to force this delicate timer counter-clockwise? There's nothing magic in Reset position.

I only work Timer clockwise. Maybe this is the reason it still works great, while maybe 99% of Timers don't work by now.
