Kenwood KA 7100 Power Supply Caps have three wires!

... and my replacement caps have two... (!) I'm talking about the four large 50v 6800uf Elna cans (3 wire). My replacements are 63v 6800uf Nichicon (2 wire).

The Elna cap's third pin has an the marking NC identifying it separately from the other wires' + and - markings. Is that for 'No Charge' maybe?

I have researched a bit and found that the third pin may be for stability and to aid in installing with correct polarity, but the pcb looks like there is some circuit connected to at least one of the cap's third pins, so I am cautious to proceed without more input.

Thanks for looking at my question...
