It came in pieces. Always take a chance when dealing online. Looks like it was in the midst of a total refurb. Gentleman said he plugged it in and got faint sound out of it. Cant see how.

Theres no way id plug this thing in. Even if i seen blue tape through the bottom cover, and the relay rattling around inside. Let alone the plastic bag of screws stuffed inside the thing. It dont look bad, he had everything labled well. But none the less needing work. Think i should deem it a parts unit, or fix her up?

Did he have the old?

It doesn't look too bad..Not as bad as a certain M-80..:D Looks very fixable..:yes:

looks like one of my cant be bothered to finish yet jobs . can you find any history on it ? like why is it in bits

Where are the bottom and top cover and buttons? Looks fixable if you have them. You can use your CA-1010 as reference (but, take note of the differences as per the manuals).

Why did he stop working on it, did he run into trouble?

@hipnotoad- He had that description.

History, From thrift shop.

I do have the bottom cover, and the wood case, and knobs.It's a fairly clean unit. Im hoping dave can whip this one in shape for me.

My 2010 was a total basket case when it made the journey to castle avionic. Its my daily driver now and the time and investment were certainly worth it. I would have it rebuilt. If I can help you getting it to Dave let me know. Congratulations, you finally found one.

Now I see why your so reluctant to let yours go bryan. It turned out well. I hear you do wood, is this if true, care to make the worlds prettiest ca-2010? I can get it to joel, then when you get down there take it to your place.... how would it get from your area to daves?

Your call.

PM me. I get around the state from time to time. Dave is only a little less than an hour away and always worth the trip for a tour and a beer.
