will a 500b transformer work in a 800c. i now the 500 b is the same. any advice.

Number are not the same. Will NOT WORK.

The 500-C and 800C are interchangeable with each other. Not with the "B" model.

The 500-B and 80-B are interchangeable with each other. Not with the "C" model.
