Just added this mint B&O RX w/MMC-3 cart to the fleet (AR/Linn/B&O/ELAC/Yamaha/Fons/Marantz/Realistic). No, I didn't need it, but I've been wanting an MMC-compatible deck (my other B&O decks use the MC carts) because of replacement possibilities.

I have three turntables but only have one in service - a Technics SL-QL1 which I've had for about 30 years. I know they get mixed reviews but I've always loved it. Right now, The Doobies "Taking it to the Streets" is playing (Yamaha RX-V990, Celestion DL-8 II's). I also have a Denon DP-23F and a recently acquired Marantz 6100. The Marantz sounds a bit thin and muddy with its Stanton 680 EE and Stanton stylus. I ordered an AT95E to try out rather than just replace the Stanton stylus with an aftermarket one for about the same price.

I have a Pioneer pl707 that replaced my pl570. It sounds a lot better and the operation is so smooth compared to the pl570,pl530 and the Marantz 6300. I have had numerous TT and the pl707 is a sleeper.

I have a Logic DM-101 turntable with a Linn Arm. Not too common here in America. I brought it back from England When I was in The Air Force. Over there it was considered one of the competitors to the Linn. It has incredible isolation. You can knock on the plinth like you are knocking on the door and nothing gets through the suspension. The sound is excellent too.

Hello!

My little collection of vintage TT comprises:

Dual:

721
626
601
1010 (in a Mono-Solid-State "Phonokoffer")
1011 (in a Tube-powered-Phonokoffer)
1009
1015
1019
1218

Perpetuum-Ebner:

2020L
3060

Braun:

PDS550

SABA:

350.

Do you think that 13 record-players is one to much or one to little?

Hi all,

I just got my first TT! A Denon DP-45F (circa 1984, I think). I am THRILLED with it so far! I ordered a new stylus for it yesterday. I'm using an ART DJPRE II preamp connected to my Harman-Kardon AVR-254 receiver and Tannoy MX4 speakers.

My LP collection now consists of six records. This is going to get expensive. Luckily, my wife is fully on board. :thmbsp:
