The Atlanta area AK'ers now have a new club to share their audio/video passion. It's called the Audio-Video Club of Atlanta and is dedicated to all who love music and the many forms of recording and reproducing it. We're interested in 2-channel as well as multi-channel audio and video.
Guests are most welcome from surrounding area to come to our next meeting which is this Sunday, May 17th from 2-5pm.(RSVP Tom Horner, trhorner@bellsouth.net and directions from John Morrison, club president, jhm3@bellsouth.net)
Sunday confab will be a music listening session(vinyl and digital) featuring a vintage tube amp shootout versus new tube technology. Representing the 60's are the Fisher X-100B and H.H. Scott 299C. They'll battle the Cary CAD 75I with KT88 tubes pared with a new Rogue Audio Perseus pre-amp.
Splendid time guaranteed for all, refreshments, raffle, good music. Coming in June, all about cans, their amps, accessories, and a variety of digital music systems featuring Tyll Hertsens of Headroom. Stay tuned for more details....
