Hello

I'm new to the site...........looking forward to meeting everyone..... Some of my equipment is Kenwood. I have a couple of Ka-8006 sitting in the closet. Pulled one of them out plugged her up and i hear a sizzling noise with the tuner lights flickering. Do the power switches go bad in these?....This problem is intermittant......Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know about power switch issues in the KA-8006. But I am interested in your thread because I have a KA-4006.

FYI I think you would have better luck attracting readers if you put your question or a brief description of your problem in the thread title.

sounds like the pots and switches need a good cleaning before proceeding .. there are alot of threads about it .. and it's fairly easy.
