Never heard of Uher making anything but tape decks, but that is very cool-looking.

Uher were higly respected for their professional tape decks - particularly portable ones for reporters, but they also made pre-amps, power amps and integrateds as well as tuners and , at least one turntable.

I got this little EG-705 3 gang analog tuner with digital read out. Sounds pretty good for what it is, but I´m betting Jack´s is much better.

Is that as small as it looks in the picture?

I have honestly never heard of them, but they seem pretty neat. What did their turntable turn out like? If they only put out one it must have been very good or very bad. Or, it wasn't very popular...It just seems weird to have one turntable ever made.

Yeah, it may sound better, but nothing can top that shade of orange.

Seriously, though that looks like a neat little tuner, with a neat bit of color you don't see too much. I know I would love to find one.

To WhiteSE: I hope you get it...that is one gorgeous tuner...about the only time I have ever liked a digital readout.

Very nice design. Probably made for Euro market and feeds on 220 volts.
