Yamaha MX-10,000 on ebay

It may end up going back to Japan. 100v is very limiting on a power amp like that- the transformer quality is everything and I wouldn't be confident with even a 'quality' stepdown. You'd need a stepdown capable of 4kW with absolutely no loss of regulation to come remotely close to the quality of the internal transformer.

I've put big Japanese 100v amps on 2kW 240:100v stepdowns and their performance has been very ordinary.

At this level, the correct primary transformer is vital.

Lovely amp.

The amplifier is beautiful but the preamp, sadly is from the 'butt-ugly front panel' era we absolutely hated when selling Yamaha. Design wise, it is a fiasco and is essentially a high end preamp with a DSP3000 in it as well. It was $12k when we had one to play with and there were 3 in Australia (apparently Allan Bond had a set). I have no idea what they were thinking design wise, but they sure fixed it with the softer knobs and slightly curved panels the following years. Too many mismatched angles, odd sizes of buttons and placement and visually just a mess.

The amp is a jewel though.
