Give Dave a call at The Vinyl Groove (440) 439-8371, 679 Broadway Ave. in Bedford OH. He sells and repairs vintage speakers and audio equipment along with used and new vinyl. He has repaired two sets of speakers for me...good prices too. The Vinyl Groove is on Facebook. He is open Wednesday thru Sunday.

A little "out-of-the-way" but this guy has a ton-of-experience, is reasonably priced with a quick turn around. He works out of his house so you have to make an appointment to drop-off & pick-up.

Maybe "snarky" was a bit over-the-top.Snarky? Bernie is like a bright ray of sunshine!
I have had mostly positive experiences there on Madison Ave. but, many would agree, Bernie is an "acquired taste".

I've got 35 yrs hi-tech experience, ~50 yrs stereo exp. and every time I leave the store I feel like I've never cued a record or moved a speaker around.

I stopped into "Play it Again Sam's" last week to drop off a Velodyne Sub-Woofer for repair and heard some news.
Bernie is recovering and resting comfortably at home after having heart bypass surgery recently. Hopefully he will be back at the shop soon.
