Beauty and the beast! I have one exactly like this.
Display issue is actually easy to fix. Front panel disassembly is a bit of PITA, but 10 minutes of re-soldering and it's as good as new.
You are talking to somebody who had a non-working Pioneer PL 530 sitting for six years until two weeks ago when I finally purchased some fuses. Surprise, two fuses and it was working fine.
I am the epitome of procrastination.
At least I was able to save the Pioneer from the trash pile. Duh, I offered $20, instead of $10.
And I have done nothing with this unit since I acquired it back in December besides discovering the display issue that I was unaware of.
I rarely ever bother with HT Amps. Very few of them are worth any effort in my opinion, and can be tough to flip for a good profit unless you want to pack this stuff. No thanks.
