A/s3000

Obviously A Yamaha nut I really did it this time.
I have finally gotten the A/S3000 integrated amp, and I bought a pair of the refurb/re-finished NS1000M's from KenRick in Japan. Mine were finished in the 'Bordeaux" color .They sent me a YouTube of them being loaded on the truck 3 days ago,crated and ready to go.
Man, I can't wait . About two weeks. Doug

A great amplifier, indeed

Well, I have my A-S3000 now for one week and all I can tell you that this is the best sounding Yamaha amplifier I have heard. The build quality is exceptional. Effortless power. It's is more like a 200W amplifier. More like a M-2 than a M-4. The phono stage is also great. Despite the fact that the specs are identical to the phono of the A-S2000 the big brother sounds much better. A little bit pricey.

Any updates on the A-S3000? I am thinking about taking the leap.
