Hi all
Found a KR-V107R in the trash. It powered up for all of 5-10 minutes (LED on) and then refuses to turn on since. I hear a click when I hit the power button but no go.
Cracking open the lid I find several capacitors that have leaked.
The leaks don't look fresh, as the electrolyte solutions look pretty crusty/dry to me.
- both electrolytic (80V/7500 uF) capacitors
- a number of smaller capacitors (25V/3300uF, 35V/1000uF, etc)
Would replacing these caps be only the beginning of my problems?
