Yamaha rx450 no sound

This amp was running fine day before. Now i turn it on, it powers up, i hear the click 3-5 seconds after and no sound...i think i might have shorted the wires when i was changing a speaker (not sure)..any easy checks i could do? Dont want to scrap this little guy.

First.Never,never fiddle with speaker wires with the unit powered up.
The fact that you get a relay "click" shortly after power up is a good sign.
.For starters anyway.Check your front panel switch settings like REC OUT(tape monitor), Function Switch , muting switch, the correct speaker switch. CD direct. yada yada yada.

Make sure your speakers are wired correctly (red to red, black to black) if you switch them the relay won't trip. I have an RX-360, similar to yours and this happened to me once. The relays on these things are really twitchy.

If that's fine, then check your fuses.
