I drove past a hoarder type house being cleaned out in my neighborhood. I knew one of the pickers so I waded through the house. There on a pile on the floor was a very sad looking Marantz tuner. It was dirty and had some jammed buttons. I took it home anyway.

Not as dirty on the inside. A little Deoxit on the AM/FM switches and they came loose.

Nice looking tuner, it cleaned up nice. Get the soft white led kit and you're set.

LED kit? Blah. Replace the vellum and put in some real bulbs and let it glow like it was supposed to.

I agree there are some shitty looking bright led kits. But there are a couple that are spot on.
