Im still making my through the audio collection - tonights victim is the KR 7050. I dim bulbed her and she passed. Hooked up the speakers, left channel wasnt working. I put two rounds of DeOx through the controls (properly dismantling them of cousre) and still nothing out of Lefty.
What is my next step?!? Im totally unfamiliar with this unit, but my desolder/solder/DMM skills are solid.

Download a copy of the schematic and service manual.

Check the ± 50VDC power supplies at the emitter of Q1 and Q3 (main power outputs for the left channel) and the E-B and BC junction voltages at these two outputs.

I had a hard time finding the manual, but it helped considerable. I found a few bad resistors, caps and a pair of bad transistors.
Thanks for chiming in!
