Found out today MSRP price is $4,000!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!

Compared to the last MCD/MDA1000 Mc DAC Transport combo the D150 + MCT450 is a steal. Plays SACD too.

Is the build quality on par and is it be based on the stainless steel chassis (like the MCD550)?

The MCT450 chassis is the same style as the C48, C50, C2500 preamps.

You sound surprised. I'm surprised when a Mac sells for less than $4,000. I'll stick with my MVP871 and never look back.

Mc said initially it was going to be priced at $3,500. They throw $500 around like its pocket change. :yes:
