Removing grill on CR2020

I have a CR2020 that I am working on-replacing lights, SB's, cleaning.

There is a large scratch on the wood case, on the top. I would need to sand quite a lot to get deep enough to remove it. How can I remove the cooling vent grill?

Screws on the underside of the cover.

Nuts, actually. Use a socket. It's also glued. Go slow and ease it off - a flat bar helps.
