How do I remove this board for cleaning with deoxit? I removed the 4 rubber locks but I can't seem to pull the board out. Any other screws I have to remove? Thanks

Looks like I have a bigger problem. Do I have to replace all the capacitors before I power up? It has been quite a while since I used this. I think more than 5 years ago.

Just looks dirty to me. You can bring it up to line voltage slowly with a variac.
This is a 100volt japanese model yes ? The A-2000 I have here is.

My A-2000a is now singing after deoxit. No distortions after listening for about 30 minutes through my celestion sl6si. Noticed though that more volume levels needed to run my speakers . Running 50% volume levels and just normal listening levels heard. Is this normal? Also noticed amp is running hot.

Will have to observe though before connecting to my main polk crs+.

Are you using a step-down transformer ? If so. Whats the VA rating ?

Nice Amp!

From the pictures, it sure looks to be very well build, with the copper plated chassis, nicely sized heat sinks..etc

Pardon the naive question, but Is the A-2000 like a MX-2000 and CX-2000 combined? Does it fall in the same category as far as the build and sound quality?

VA 1000 step down. I also have a 2000 VA step down but voltage is 110 volts. Can i plug my 100 volt amp to this? Thanks
