Hi folks, i hav manage to got an Omron relay MY4-02-DC24 from a friend though a part list order. Ordering for me was never easy because i dun hold credit card.

Is this the correct sub for the stated S51-4030-15 original relay from X00-1700-10 board?

Also i noticed tat pin 1-4 has been cut from the old relay, could i do the same for the new relay?

Power supply (B) (X00-1720-10)

Info sharing
I upsized C27 from 1000uf/3.15v to 2200uf/6.3v to delay the relay timing as per EW articles
All other caps are being replaced with low esr 105c

Yes, that's the correct relay. And yes, you'll have to clip the unused NC pins from the new one to install it.

Sorry to see that you undid all the original wirewrap from the relay board.

Oops my pardon but is there any ways to do it beside to undo those coils?

Aft done i will probably strip a bit to coil back 2/3 rounds to solder back to its designated pins

All this is being labelled markings before the dismantled of its complex wirings of cos.

Probably later i will post pics of the pre/tone/filter boards as well

As usual thks for yr helpful feedback

The board can be accessed just fine when the big caps are removed (for replacement). As for the rest of the wirewrap, all you have to do is to tell yourself that you'll find a way to get the job done without disturbing them, and you will.

Well you are right as the main filter caps once remove, the board could be access probably some wiggle of the wires need to focus on.

For clarifications i considered this to be the 2nd stage of the restore where as the 1st stage is being completed on the power stages, driver boards n back panel switches n connectors deoxit/lube.

Due to time constraint n work commitment, i postponed preamp/front panel knobs n faceplate rebuild/cleaning to a later period
